Date of Trial

What does this mean?

This is the date of the final court hearing, i.e., the hearing at which the court will decide who was responsible for the accident and how much compensation is payable.  The court will usually provide at least 3 weeks notice of the trial and we will notify you of the date as soon as we receive it.  It is very important that you attend the trial as failure to do so will almost certainly mean that your case will be struck out or that the trial will be adjourned to a new date at your expense.
