Medical Report Requested
What does this mean?
We are making arrangements for you to attend a medical examination so that we can obtain a medical report to support your claim. Usually we will instruct a medical agency to make those arrangements on our behalf.
In most personal injury claims it is necessary to obtain your medical records (i.e. your general practitioners records and any hospital records). This is because your medical records are likely to contain important information about the medical treatment you have received and also any previous accidents. Most medical experts will insist on seeing your medical records before they even send you a medical appointment. You will be required to complete a consent form to enable your medical records to be obtained.
