ROLE:

To help Fletchers achieve its strategic goals and plans by helping the business deliver on projects which are grounded in data and analysis. Leading the on-going detailed requirements gathering across multiple projects under a transformation portfolio which seeks to both transform the current business and deliver new products & services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct and co-ordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the transformation portfolio
  • Interpret and evaluate research data, developing integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Elicit requirements from across the business stakeholders group to define project scope
  • Organise and prioritise requirements based on an understanding of the project’s key drivers and goals
  • Plan and monitor dependencies between requirements and delivery timelines
  • Work with project managers to develop core business case components across strategic initiatives that include legal, professional services, technology, and operational change projects
  • Translate and simplify requirements for reporting to programme sponsors, stakeholders and the C-Suite
  • Effectively execute a wide range of analytical tools and techniques, including process mapping, gap analysis, statistical analysis, and wireframing
  • Instigate, prepare, facilitate and lead meetings, workshops and presentations for a wide range of audiences
  • Provide Project and Programme Managers with clearly defined requirements and aligned solutions to ensure successful business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems
  • Support the development of business analysis best practice and tools, using your experience to enable the learning & development of others across Fletchers
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years business experience in a related role
  • Formal qualification or a desire to be formally qualified in business analysis and change management
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering the business analysis to underpin business change across large and small change initiatives
  • Understanding of change analysis and change management techniques
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently across a varied range of projects, stakeholders, and topics
  • Understanding of best practice in business analysis, with the ability to establish, and drive the adoption of, relevant skills and processes within the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Business case development for projects of a complex nature and in excess of £500k value
  • Ability to assimilate complex information and research to drive strategic business planning
  • Understanding of research techniques required to facilitate effective market analysis and requirement prioritisation
  • Broad understanding of networks, databases and other technologies

Based in either Manchester or Southport
