ROLE:

To take details and set up cases relating to people who have been involved in a Motorcycle/Car Accident under the supervision of the team supervisor

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Good organisational skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Good client care skills

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deal with both of the email folders – open new files, answer client’s emails, drag post onto the correct files
  • Run the appropriate paperwork on a variety of claims from Serious Injury, Road Traffic Accident cases and litigation cases
  • Manage your own case load and task list
  • Call client to chase claim packs, deal with correspondence from police, sources of cctv and contact witnesses
  • Act as the first point of contact for most clients and advise them of the claims process
  • Get injury updates
  • Get clients back on board
  • Assist towards the department’s target by getting claim packs back as quickly as possible
  • Notify supervisor when a file needs transferring to the next team and when the claim can be submitted to the Ministry of Justice portal
  • Answer incoming phone calls and all emails in personal email folder
  • Any other duties
