Data Breach Solicitor/CILEx – (COM005)

To develop our new Data Breach service, running a mixed caseload of Data Breach claims and deliver customer satisfaction.


  1. People Management
  • Lead the team, managing the team members
  • Coach, develop and support team members
  • Model “Wise, Kind and Strong” management behaviours
  1. Technical
  • Work with customers to give advice and take instructions
  • Arrange for appropriate expert advice
  • Review and take instructions regarding quantum and liability offers
  • Instruct Counsel as appropriate
  • Work with the Marketing team to suggest areas for Data Breach claim business development
  • Assist with training within the company as appropriate


  1. Delivery of key output metrics:
    1. Fees
    2. Work Done
    3. EBITDA
    4. EBITDAW
    5. Customer satisfaction
  2. Delivery of key input metrics:
    1. Team chargeability %
    2. Letters of claim sent, cases served and cases settled
    3. Acceptance rates
    4. Win rate
    5. Zero data breaches
  3. Delivery of other key metrics:
    1. Team engagement


  • Ideally experience of either data claims cases or commercial litigation
  • May suit an NQ or someone looking to re-train in this area.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to form positive working relationships with a wide variety of team members and to manage the sensitivities of challenging legal practice appropriately where necessary
  • A good understanding of and the ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to role model good practice case management
  • A good understanding of how to balance compliance with business drivers
  • Experience of coaching and supporting team members
  • Technology literate, with the ability to use technology to enhance legal services
  • Strong analytical skills
