PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Work proactively to support Legal D’s and H’s in providing our customers with the best possible legal and customer experience

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Strategy & Leadership
  • To support the legal teams proactively, enabling excellence through monitoring and sampling completed work, compliance trends, customer feedback and any other identified issues
  • Identify and enable workflow developments and refinements to help teams to achieve their agreed performance targets

 

  1. People Management
  • Model “Wise, Kind and Strong” people management behaviours

 

  1. Technical
  • Supporting the Teams and H’s in providing both proactive and reactive technical legal support to the teams to enable them to offer excellent customer service and to achieve their agreed performance targets
  • Supporting the Teams and H’s in identifying future developments and potential areas for innovation in the relevant legal areas
  • Supporting the Teams, H’s to ensure cases are being progressed appropriately throughout the department, in line with compliance requirements and that excellent customer satisfaction is delivered

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualified solicitor, lawyer, or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience of running a wide variety of relevant legal claims
  • Understanding of the compliance issues involved in relevant legal claims
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • A good understanding of how to deliver and grow team productivity
  • Experience of supporting teams running cases
  • Ability to role model good practice leadership
  • Technology literate, with the ability to use technology to enhance legal services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to form positive working relationships with a wide variety of team members
  • Strong analytical skills
