We are now accepting applications for our 2021 Solicitor Apprenticeship which offers aspiring lawyers an alternative route into the profession.
The six-year Solicitor Apprenticeship, in partnership with The University of Law (ULaw), aims to give aspiring young trainees, who may have found the financial cost of a traditional university route a deterrent, the opportunity to have a successful career in law.
The scheme will allow trainees to gain hands on experience in the legal environment, whilst completing an undergraduate degree (LLB, Hons), and a Solicitor Qualifying Exam Legal Practice Course (SQE) at ULaw, include SQE1 and SQE2 as well as a period of recognised training. By the end of the 6 years you will be a qualified solicitor.
The scheme enables you to qualify whilst earning a salary, meaning you don’t have to pay for tuition fees and can, instead, earn whilst you learn.
You will be based in our Southport office employed to work 4 days a week, being a combination of working from home and in the office, with 1 day being dedicated to study. You will gain experience in our Customer Contact Team before moving into Medical Negligence Serious Injury to build your legal knowledge, whilst training to become a qualified Solicitor.
