STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION MANAGER (STT004)

ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Strategy & Transformation Manager who can help shape our organisation’s long-term strategy, developing measures that will help us realise our business objectives. You will work within the Strategy & Transformation team, leading the Programme Management Office and supporting the development and progress towards our long and medium term strategy.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy

  • Conduct research, assessing market trends, competition, customer behaviours and Fletchers’ positioning to yield key insights that drive our strategic and product roadmap
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to get an holistic understanding of customer need and market opportunities
  • Support the development and review of long and medium term organisational strategy, monitoring and reporting on progress towards strategic goals
  • Identify threats and opportunities to the Fletchers enterprise
  • Present findings, projections and recommended actions
  • Perform root cause analysis of potential problems and provide effective resolutions
  • Develop and / or assess business cases for new initiatives with a focus on market and opportunity sizing
  • Support and guide the senior decision making process by providing easily digestable information, rooted in data analysis and insight
  • Champion an effective and rigorous decision making culture

Transformation

  • Provide leadership and oversight to Fletchers’ PMO
  • Oversee the development, implementation and sharing of best practice project, programme and portfolio management tools and procedures
  • Lead portfolio planning and alignment against Fletchers’ strategic targets
  • Understand, interrogate and interpret programme & project status reporting and RAIDs to ensure effective risk, assumption, issue and dependency tracking & mitigation
  • Drive the Transformation Programme governance and reporting routine
  • Assimilate large amounts of data into easily digestable management information

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years working in a Strategy and / or Transformation role
  • Strong researching and analytical skills coupled with ability to draw out meaningful insights
  • Excellent understanding of business operations & procedures
  • Ability to simplify complexity and present ideas effectively to senior audiences
  • Previous experience in business case analysis, development & assessment
  • Track record of managing complex change
  • Strong organisational, programme management and problem solving skills
  • Forward thinking and innovative, with a full appreciation of tech as an enabler
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • An existing understanding of the legal sector is desirable, but not essential
