Fletcher’s Mental Health Champions organise Christmas get together

As we enter the festive period, let’s not forget that for a lot of us it really isn’t the season to be jolly.

In the build up to Christmas I’m sure like me you’ll be rushing around wondering what to buy.

Seriously, how many times do we need to debate in our minds whether Aunty Gladys will like her perfume? (Even though it’s re-gifted).

On the other hand, there is a more serious reality to this time of year.

This coming Christmas might be your first without a loved one.

Christmas can be a difficult time for many

Without someone special to share the holidays with many of us would prefer that Christmas was “just another day”.

If this is you then one thing I can promise is that you are not alone.

Remember, you work somewhere that places people at the heart of what we do.

After all, our values dictate every decision we make.

Looking back on the year that’s been, we’ve hosted a number of activities to encourage Fletcherians to come together.

So, please know that if you just want someone to talk to – we, the Mental Health Champions, are here!

If you’d like to meet up over Christmas, we’ll be officially get together 11.00 a.m 30th December, Southport Costa, C12 Shopping Park.

It can be to talk and get whatever it is off your chest, or it can be going and sharing a coffee.

Sometimes a problem shared is a problem halved.

We may not have all the solutions – but together we can talk it out.
