Paul & Family’s Story

Paul’s brother, Les, was seriously injured in an RTA. He has now moved into a specially adapted home, giving him a more secure future.

Les was riding his motorcycle, when he was hit by a large truck travelling at around 65mph. He suffered an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Case timeline

Les suffered several broken bones and an acquired brain injury following the motorcycle accident. He was in a coma for three months.

Our Court of Protection team worked closely with the family to protect Les’ interests. They’ve helped with the purchase of a specially adapted home for Les, organising plans with builders to ensure that the new accommodation is fully suitable for his needs.
