Daily Mirror: Moped rider left partially paralysed in horror crash wins compensation

30th September 2015

We were recently featured on the Daily Mirror website and Birmingham Mail, after achieving a settlement for our client, Sarah Forbes, who was left partially paralysed after a driver pulled out from a side road and crashed into her in July 2011.

Sarah had been riding her moped when the driver pulled out and crashed into her. She was then rushed to hospital where it was confirmed she had dislocated her hip. Sarah also suffered from a crushed sciatic nerve and part of her left foot was paralysed, she underwent surgery to put her hip back into its joint, her life has now dramatically changed because of the accident.

After the accident, Sarah instructed Fletchers Solicitors to handle her claim, which was successfully settled earlier this year. She received compensation of œ145,000 which will be used for further treatment and getting her life back on track.
