Fletchers Solicitors’ Manager Alex Kenny recently took part in an annual charity bike ride

4th June 2013

The 40 mile journey took him between two of the north wests biggest cities. The riders set off from Media City in Salford Keys in Manchester, and travelled along the Manchester shipping canal and Mersey estuary, before ending up in Otterspool Park on the coast of Liverpool.

The event itself is held every year, and is organised by the NSPCC. However, as well as raising money for this charity the team was also raising funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK, after a friend of the team sadly died from the illness 2 years ago.

Alex (pictured far left), who is already training for another charity ride in August, completed the ride in 2 hours 47 minutes. They are still collecting in sponsorship but the team will have raised hundreds of pounds for these very worthy causes.
