Fletchers Solicitors partners with Legal Cheek

5th August 2015

Fletchers Solicitors, the serious injury and medical negligence law firm, has partnered with the UK?s leading news source for junior lawyers and law students, Legal Cheek.

As part of the partnership, Fletchers Solicitors will be hosting a law graduate event in early 2016, which will be co-organised with Legal Cheek. The event will be aimed at graduates looking to gain a career in law and will feature top speakers who will discuss the exciting hub of legal market innovation that is emerging in the North West.

Fletchers? CEO Ed Fletcher will also be speaking an event hosted by Legal Cheek that explores diversity in the legal sector. The event takes place at Lincoln’s Inn on Thursday 15 October and Ed will talk about a range of issues including social mobility in law.

The law firm will also be producing cutting edge content for the publication around its expertise in medical negligence and serious injury to serve the interests of Legal Cheek?s readers.

Ed Fletcher, CEO of Fletchers Solicitors, said: ?We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Legal Cheek to become one of its key partner firms. Legal Cheek is an excellent fit for our brand as its young and dynamic tone and readership complements our own modern and forward thinking approach.

?The calibre of the law firms that Legal Cheek partners with is extremely high and they all have a London presence, so we?re honoured to be the first non-London firm to collaborate with them. It also fits in with our goal to become a top 100 law firm by 2018.?

Sara Duxbury, head of people at Fletchers Solicitors, continued: ?Given our expertise in the serious injury and medical negligence sector, we are keen to connect with new and talented lawyers entering the profession and Legal Cheek provides us with the perfect opportunity to build key relationships with this group.

?We are really looking forward to hosting the law graduate event and meeting the new graduates to give them a greater insight into our firm and the industry, as well as provide valuable career advice to help them land their dream job.?

Alex Aldridge founder and editor at Legal Cheek said: ?I’m delighted to be working with Fletchers. Having established partnerships with a host of leading City of London law firms, we’re now expanding our extremely popular Legal Cheek Careers partner editorial and events offering nationwide. In particular, it’s exciting to be working with a highly progressive firm like Fletchers operating in what is the most innovative segment of the UK legal profession. Together, we’re looking forward to bringing Legal Cheek readers insights into the evolving North West market, and helping to chart the development of what is becoming the legal version of Silicon Valley.”
