Graham Rumsey Places Second at MSA Rallycross Championship

4th April 2016

Although a relatively unknown driver within Rallycross circles, Graham provided an impressive performance, with other drivers in the Hot Hatch class definitely taking note of him now.

After steadily improving during the heats and gaining significant momentum, Graham lined up for his semi-final, going on to score a very respectable 5th place up against more powerful cars, and the eventual top three finishers for the event.

Graham finished an impressive 2nd┬áplace overall in the Hot Hatch class and spoke about his fantastic achievement; “2nd place in the Hot Hatch class for my first ever meeting in the BRX championship was a good result, but first was achievable and I am confident going into the next round at Lydden.”

Fletchers were proud to support Graham in his racing endeavours, and sponsor his Hot Hatch – our logo gracing the back of the rally car. We first met Graham after he was involved in a road traffic accident in 2010, whilst riding his motorcycle. Graham has had a passion for road bikes since he was a youngster and enjoyed participating in motor cross and karting. In 2000, he was the English karting champion and travelled to Thailand every year to compete in the South East Asia league. Graham came to Fletchers with his case, and our specialist serious injury team worked with him to ensure he received the correct rehabilitation and continuously supported his recovery.

It is great to see Graham getting on so well after his accident and we wish him luck in his future races! Stay tuned to hear more updates on Graham as the season progresses.
