We were delighted this month to announce the successful candidates in our ‘Period of Recognised Training’ (PORT) – previously known as Training Contracts. Big congratulations to Nikki, Jo, Ajith and James!
We caught up with Marketa, our Learning and Development Specialist, to talk us through the selection process.
I was absolutely overwhelmed with the outstanding candidates across the board who applied this year. We chose four amazing talents, but I was proud of everyone that applied and if they were unsuccessful on this occasion, I would definitely recommend reapplying as assessments are held twice a year.
The process was completely revamped this year and involved a new two-day assessment centre. Over these two days, the candidates are measured against the Fletchers values (Trust, Innovation, Development and Performance) and participate in a mixture of group, individual, written and interview based tasks.
I am really looking forward to working alongside the candidates and to see them grow into successful and reputable solicitors in their respective fields.
