Due to the outstanding level of talent who applied for the ‘Period of Recognised Training’ (PORT) contract, a decision was made to extend the number of successful candidates.
Aimee has been working at Fletchers for nearly four years after completing a degree in Law at Liverpool John Moores University. It soon became obvious to Aimee that Law was the path she wanted to take and she completed her LPC at John Moores on a part time basis.
We asked Aimee about her role here at Fletchers and what the PORT will mean for her:
During my time at Fletchers I have gained invaluable experience dealing with catastrophically injured clients who have suffered life changing injuries. I am extremely passionate about the work that I do, and the skills I have acquired so far during my time at Fletchers have set me in good stead to become a successful solicitor in the future.
I am looking forward to remaining in SIU when I complete my contract and cementing my position as an integral member of the team at Fletchers. Management and HR work constantly to ensure that everyone is developing on a personal level and becoming the best they can be. In particular, the SIU team are supportive of each other as it can be an extremely challenging job at times but everyone is approachable. It is always apparent we are all working together towards one goal with the client’s best interests at the heart of everything we do.
