Meet Our Trainee Solicitors – James

1st December 2014

James has worked at Fletchers for just over two years and has just been offered one of our Period of Recognised Training Contracts. He works in our Medical Negligence department, working on some of our most high value complex cases, progressing from initial acceptance call to completion of the claim.

He originally obtained a Philosophy degree from the University of York, and has since completed a graduate diploma in Law from BPP Manchester.

We asked James about his role here at Fletchers:

The friendly, co-operative team approach recognises and takes advantage of everyone’s skills and specialities to ensure the client receives the best service from the very first day we start investigating their case. The nature of medical negligence means it is essential to appreciate what the client has gone through and my on-going development at Fletchers allows me to always put the client first.

During my training period at Fletchers I will continue to work on complex catastrophic injury cases and further develop my medico legal knowledge. The injuries suffered are often life changing and profound; not just for the client but for their whole family. We cannot turn the clocks back and undo what has happened but we can do everything we can to achieve the best outcome for the client.
