Joanne joined our RTA department 18 months ago after studying as a mature student at Lancaster University. She graduated in 2008 and went on to complete her LPC in 2009, all whilst looking after her three children.
Joining the company as a Fee Earner in Post-Issue RTA, Joanne tells us a bit more about her current role:
I was promoted from Fee Earner to Team Supervisor earlier this year. Combining my previous fee earning duties with supervisory duties, I am now the first point of contact with queries amongst the team and supervise nearly 20 people. At the moment, I run a case load of more technical issued cases and conduct my own Case Management Conferences and telephone hearings with the court.
When I qualify, I am interested in working in any of the Fletchers areas as I feel that the skills that I have acquired so far working at Fletchers are entirely transferable to all of the departments here. I am excited to be working within all departments of the firm during my contract – whether I stay in RTA or move to another division, I am looking forward to being able to apply a combination of my academic knowledge and previous work experience.
The Fletchers vision is apparent in all of the company’s work and I enjoy working with the people that make up the Fletchers team. I am incredibly grateful to Fletchers for giving me this opportunity and appreciate the commitment they have invested in me.
