Meet Our Trainee Solicitors – Nicola

3rd December 2014

Nicola joined us in 2011 after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University in Law. She went on to complete her LPC over a year and a half part-time at the University of Law in Manchester.

We caught up with Nicola to ask her about her role and what she hopes to achieve in the future.

I joined Fletchers in September 2011 as a Fee Earner in the Fast Track RTA department and moved to the Serious Injury Unit as an Assistant Fee Earner about 18 months ago. Within the Serious Injury Unit, I deal with high value cases that involve serious multiple orthopaedic injuries, dealing with the case from beginning to end.

In the future, I hope to remain within the SIU after becoming a qualified solicitor, gaining more experience with high value cases. I enjoy working in this particular area of law as many of my client’s lives have dramatically changed and they cannot return to the job or life they used to have. Seeing them rebuild their lives and being able to help them achieve this is often humbling and awe-inspiring.

The opportunities that Fletchers have offered to me to get to where I am today have been amazing. I have been supported from the start, my team has an excellent reputation in their field and I can’t wait to grow and develop as the team does.

If you would like to join the Fletchers Team to start or progress your career in Law please visit where you will find information on all of our current vacancies
