Motorcyclist awarded over £27k following RTA

The Incident

Our client was riding his motorcycle along a main road when the Defendant, who was driving another vehicle, pulled out from a junction into the client’s path which resulted in a collision.

Our client was treated at the scene, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

After being assessed, our client was diagnosed with the following injuries:
• Fracture to the left tibia and fibula
• Soft tissue injuries
• Psychological distress

The Case

Following the RTA, the claimant sought representation with Fletchers Serious Injury, with Chartered Legal Executive, Katie Rutter taking representation of the case, supported by Assistant Litigation Executive, Rebecca Carroll.

The Aftermath

Due to his injuries, the client has continued to suffer with pain and discomfort in his leg. In addition to his physical injuries, he has also struggled with travel phobia and depression.

The Outcome

Supported by Katie’s representation, liability was settled in our client’s favour, with the claimant awarded a settlement amount of £27,500.
