In early 2014, Paul, a regular family man from Chester, had his life serious affected as the result of a road traffic accident. Whilst proceeding down a main road on his motorcycle, Paul was hit by another party pulling out from a side road, causing a collision.
The accident resulted in Paul sustaining multiple serious injuries, including a fractured wrist, collarbone, shoulder blade, ribs, and jaw, in addition to injuries he sustained to his ear; due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to hospital via air ambulance.
Paul has now pledged to run the Chester Half Marathon to thank the North West Air Ambulance and cover the costs of his unexpected flight. The marathon will be happening later this month on the 15th of May, with around 7000 expected runners taking part.
