Gerard is a Senior Solicitor within Fletchers’ renowned Catastrophic Injury Team. He has been with Fletchers for over 13 years having joined in August 2008. In this time Gerard has built a national reputation in the catastrophic injury sector, dealing with some of the most complex and high value cases in the company and nationally.

Gerard represents claimants who have suffered life-changing injuries, such as brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, nerve damage/chronic pain, serious orthopaedic injury and psychiatric injury. He also acts in fatal accident cases. Gerard is instructed on some of the most complex and high value cases in the company, and nationally.[vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”20440″ img_size=”large”]As well as his legal role, Gerard has been active in assisting several charities, including fundraising for Headway Central Lancashire, as well as the North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre in Southport.  He has also volunteered as a buddy for the spinal injury charity, Back Up, where he spent a weekend in Belfast assisting on a multi-activity weekend. Gerard passionately believes in fighting for his clients and he was recently interviewed by ITV’s Judge Rinder, where he talked about standing up for individual client’s who can be vulnerable and often at the most difficult part of their lives. https://player.vimeo.com/video/595335331

Gerard is a member of the British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management (“BABICM”) and volunteers on the Training Events Group Committee, to co-ordinate and deliver training to other professionals relating to catastrophic injury litigation, and importantly, the rehabilitation process.
