Emily is a Chartered Legal Executive in our clinical negligence team. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2020 and since then has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working on clinical negligence claims. Emily brings energy to her cases and isn’t afraid to get stuck into the nitty-gritty to ensure she is representing her clients in the best way, from reviewing records to attending multi-disciplinary team meetings on behalf of her clients. Whilst studying for her A levels and her degree, Emily worked in a pharmacy for just under four years, giving her extremely valuable insights into how the NHS works, that her clients that she represents benefit from greatly. Moreover, she is passionate about supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society, helping them to seek the justice they deserve following clinical negligence. As a compassionate and down to earth person, Emily has also taken an interest in mental health over the years, and in 2018 she completed a Mental Health Awareness course. In 2021, she also became Law Society Mental Health Panel accredited, which allowed her to represent clients detained under the Mental Health Act in Tribunals. Her skills in mental health ultimately allow Emily to develop strong relationships with her clients that are built on a foundation of empathy, as well as the security of knowing that Emily truly knows how her clients have been affected and will do everything in her power to fight their corner.
