Julia Eyton

Julia Eyton is a Partner and Serious Injury Team Leader. Julia joined the Fletchers legal team in 1998, representing those who have had life changing injuries, and brings her knowledge and expertise to the team.

In 2012, Julia won the prestigious award for Outstanding Case of the Year at the Personal Injury Awards, where an individual was injured in a rescue attempt following a multi-vehicle collision on the motorway. Julia secured a 100% judgment in the client’s favour. Julia handles some of the most serious and complex personal injury cases both in the company and nationally. Because of this, she is often instructed in claims valued in excess of £1million and is skilled in winning complex liability cases. Julia has a national reputation for representing clients demonstrated by her previous listing in the Legal 500 as being “unbelievably knowledgeable”.

Acting for motorcyclist who was knocked off his motorbike, resulting in significant lower limb damage resulting in below knee amputation. Achieved settlement for over £3 million.

K v S 2021

Acting for a cyclist who suffered fractured knee and psychological injuries, affecting their return to the pre accident employment. Achieved a settlement for over £2 million.

PT v W 2021

Fully contested interim payment application for 1 million, court found in the claimants favour.

Newman v Broker, 2018

Acting on behalf of her client who experienced multiple injuries, including a serious spinal cord injury, following a road traffic accident, liability denied. Achieved a settlement of £1,250,000.
