About Me & The Team

Carol qualified as a solicitor over 20 years ago and specialises in medical negligence. She is a senior solicitor within our medical negligence department and leads a team of junior and senior lawyers.

Carol ensures the progression of cases within the team to the point of settlement or issue. She completes risk formal assessments of each case and strategically plans the progression of cases.

Jane Wagg

Senior Litigation Executive

Jane is a senior fee earner within the team and is responsible for corresponding with customers and experts to ensure cases are conducted in a proactive and effective manner. She works with the team leader to discuss and agree case tactics and planning, ensuring the necessary information has been collected to enable progression and settlement of the case. Before joining Fletchers, Jane previously worked for the General Medical Council, who regulate the practice of doctors in the UK.

Tatevik Bagratyan

Assistant Fee Earner

Tatevik is the assistant fee earner in the team and therefore is responsible for obtaining expert evidence. She drafts detailed letters of instructions to medical experts in order to build evidence for the case. When she has obtained the expert reports, Tatevik will review them and advise the customer of their contents. She is also responsible for drafting a full exhaustive witness statement in support of the case, keeping it updated regularly as the customer’s condition changes

Jennifer Argent

Medical Negligence Solicitor

Jennifer joined Fletchers Solicitors in 2018 with experience of working in Clinical Negligence in several firms across the North of England. As a Solicitor within the team, Jennifer will have an in-depth knowledge of the case. She is responsible for drafting letters of claim and will actively progress the case towards settlement by obtaining medical evidence, calculating financial losses and carrying out negotiations.
