About Me & The Team

Saima has over 12 years of experience as a solicitor and leads a team of junior and senior lawyers at Fletchers.

Saima and her team have experience dealing with a wide variety of medical negligence claim types and as the senior solicitor and team leader, Saima is responsible for the progression of cases to the point of settlement or issue. She completes formal risk assessments of each case and strategically plans the progression of the case, whilst ensuring her team is providing the best possible service to our customers.

Jennifer Hales

Solicitor

Jennifer is a solicitor within the team and is responsible for corresponding with customers and experts to ensure cases are conducted in a proactive and effective manner. She works with the team leader to discuss and agree case tactics and planning, ensuring the necessary information has been collected to enable progression and settlement of the case.

Kim Jackson

Trainee Solicitor

Kim is a fee earner and trainee solicitor at Fletchers. Within the team, she is responsible for drafting letters of claim. She will have an in-depth understanding of the case in order to draft the letter of claim, which will outline the formal allegations we are making. Kim proactively chases a response to these letters and evaluates the quantum of the case. She will also collate and consider the customer’s losses, and negotiate with the Defendant if an offer of settlement is made.

Sadiya Zaib

Assistant Fee Earner

Sadiya is an assistant fee earner within the team, and she is responsible for obtaining expert evidence. As an assistant fee earner, she drafts detailed letters of instructions to medical experts in order to build evidence for the case. When she has obtained the expert reports, Sadiya will review them and advise the customer of their contents. She is also responsible for drafting a full exhaustive witness statement in support of the case, keeping it updated regularly as the customer’s condition changes
