About Me & The Team

Sam is a senior solicitor and team leader within the department. He deals with a variety of high value medical negligence cases including amputations, brain and spinal injury, complex orthopaedic injury, kidney and liver injury, negligent emergency services’ advice, and cancer cases.

Sam joined the team in 2017, having previous experience in the field of clinical negligence as well as numerous successes both at trial and in the court of appeal in industrial disease, child abuse, and high value RTA matters.

Sam ensures he does the very best for customers and endeavours to maintain principles of hard work, ethics and helpfulness at all times. Sam always strives to ensure his work is of the highest quality and that his customers are always happy with the work he does for them.

Parbeen Alamgir


Parbeen is a solicitor within our Medical Negligence Serious Injury team and advises customers on a wide range of clinical negligence claims.

Before joining the Fletchers team in 2018, Parbeen had previously worked in the medical negligence sector, handling cases involving fatal negligence, amputation, wrongful birth, neonatal death and delayed cancer diagnosis. She also has experience dealing with criminal injuries compensation claims.

Megan Tyrer

Junior Litigation Executive

Megan joined Fletchers as a Junior Litigation Executive in summer 2017 after graduating from Lancaster University with a first class Law degree. Within her role she supports four solicitors and assists with all aspects of case progression including expert instruction, drafting court applications, taking witness statements, obtaining and reviewing  medical and other records, assisting with the risk assessment of new inquiries, organising conferences, and updating and liaising with clients on a day to day basis.
