About Me & The Team

Darren is a senior solicitor within our medical negligence department and has over 16 years of relevant experience. He leads a team of junior and senior lawyers, dedicated to successfully pursuing claims for substandard medical care.

As the senior solicitor within the team, Darren is responsible for the progression of cases to the point of settlement or issue. He completes formal assessments of each case and strategically plans the progression of the case. Darren joined Fletchers in July 2015 and was previously an Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) specialist solicitor panel member.

Lee Reilly

Solicitor

As a solicitor within the team, Lee uses his previous experience of running medical negligence claims to the team to achieve results for customers. He works with the team leader to discuss and agree case tactics and planning. Lee is responsible for ensuring customers receive the highest level of support throughout the entirety of their claim.

Stephanie Davies

Litigation Executive

Stephanie is the assistant fee earner in the team and she is responsible for obtaining expert evidence. As an assistant fee earner, she drafts detailed letters of instructions to medical experts in order to build evidence for the case. When Stephanie has obtained the expert reports, she will review them and advise the customer of their contents. She is also responsible for drafting a full exhaustive witness statement in support of the case, keeping it updated regularly as the customer’s condition changes.

Thomas Stevens

Junior Paralegal

Thomas joined Fletchers in 2012 and is a junior paralegal within the team. He is responsible for the collection of customer’s medical records and for arranging them to be reviewed and paginated by our nurse analyst team. Thomas is the first point of contact for customers and is required to liaise with them frequently throughout the early stages of their case. He is also responsible for drafting Pre-Action Disclosure applications for the Court in the event that hospitals, doctors or dentists do not disclose the customer’s medical records in a timely manner.
