Who am I

I’m the Chief Legal Officer at Fletchers, where I oversee our legal teams and lead our regulatory and compliance functions.

I specialise in cases involving traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and complex polytrauma, and have handled some of the most complex and high-value claims in the country. My focus is on ensuring our clients receive expert support and the best possible outcomes in life-changing situations.

Why I do this work

Serious injury litigation can be extremely complex and demanding, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of this specialist area, alongside a determination to secure the very best outcomes for our clients; this is non-negotiable, which fits well with my personality. But perhaps most importantly of all, it brings out that most fundamental and deep human instinct to be there for people when they need it most. To help them see opportunities and achieve positive outcomes even when the worst has happened. For that I am extremely grateful and blessed to do the work that I do.

How I work with clients

I balance a relentless, fearless approach to dealing with the legal aspects of cases with an empathy and caring approach to my clients. The best serious injury lawyers are technically strong, tactically astute, and client centric. I’ve worked hard to meet this template and to ensure all my teams deliver the same.

What I enjoy about working at Fletchers

As a senior leader at Fletchers, I’m proud to support and work alongside colleagues across the business. I have a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in this highly personal and emotive area of law. With years of experience behind me, I aim to lead by example – encouraging our lawyers to be driven, focused, and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients. It’s this tenacity that has helped us build a strong reputation for taking on complex cases and achieving successful outcomes time and again. I regularly remind my teams of the privilege it is to represent injured clients and the responsibility that comes with that role.
