Who am I
I’m a Partner and lead our Onboarding team, supporting clients at the very start of their claim. My team and I are often the first point of contact, so I focus on making the process as clear, supportive, and straightforward as possible.
Before moving into law, I trained and worked as a nurse in A&E departments across the Northwest. That experience gave me a strong understanding of how the NHS works and, more importantly, the challenges patients can face. It’s a perspective that’s shaped how I work today, helping me connect with and support people who have experienced clinical negligence or serious injuries following an accident.
Why I do this work
Working in clinical negligence gives me the opportunity to support people at difficult points in their lives, often when they feel they’ve been let down by a system or individual they trusted.
I support both our clinical negligence teams and our recruitment team, helping to bring more talented lawyers into Fletchers. By growing our team, we can continue to provide a high standard of service and support even more people when they need it most.
I’m also a keen motorcyclist and have been riding for over 25 years, regularly commuting to our offices across the Northwest on my bike. I’m passionate about using my legal expertise to support the biking community, particularly when riders have been involved in an accident.

My team
My team is passionate about showcasing what Fletchers has to offer and works proactively to connect with talented lawyers. We’re committed to ensuring no opportunity is missed when identifying individuals who are ready for a new challenge.
What I enjoy about working at Fletchers
I’ve been with Fletchers for nine years. During that time, I had the opportunity to lead our Clinical Negligence team in Manchester, which was an amazing opportunity. When I joined, the office was just nine colleagues, and I was proud to help grow the team while also building a positive, supportive, and happy work culture.
Over the past four years, I’ve worked across several teams. The roles have been varied, but the people, (great people), have been consistent. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with and develop many talented individuals who now hold leadership roles within Fletchers. I believe this reflects my flexibility and commitment to supporting colleagues at any level, from junior team members to experienced lawyers.

Outside of work
I’m a proud parent to two daughters and have a very supportive wife. We’ve always enjoyed getting involved in different ventures outside of our day jobs, which has kept life interesting over the years.
I enjoy motorcycling and spending time outdoors. We’re lucky to live on the edge of the West Pennine Moors, so we do a lot of walking and hiking – usually followed by a well-earned beer or three.
I’m also a big fan of live music and like a variety of bands, with recent favourites including Geese, Idles, Father John Misty, CMAT and David Byrne. I love travelling, particularly in the East, and have recently visited Japan, Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, Bali and Sumatra — occasionally persuading my daughters to join us too.
Above all, I enjoy having a good laugh. The work we do can be serious, so I think it’s important to bring some humour and positivity wherever possible.
