I’m a Team Leader in the ELPL team, with over 30 years of experience in personal injury law, including employers’ liability, public liability, occupiers’ liability, and road traffic accident claims.

I have a strong background in both fast track and serious injury claims. I’ve been a Chartered Legal Executive for 24 years and have spent around 20 years managing litigation teams. I’m particularly interested in the detail of ELPL claims and enjoy analysing and challenging the arguments put forward by insurers and defendants.

As a team leader, I also enjoy working closely with my team — supporting and mentoring them, discussing cases, and sharing ideas.

Even with my experience, I still enjoy learning new things, especially how new case law or legislation affects the claims process. I’m committed to supporting my clients and making their journey through the claims process as smooth as possible, and I take pride in helping my team perform at their best.

I do this work because I genuinely want to make a difference during some of the most challenging times in people’s lives. With over 30 years of experience in this field, I’ve seen first-hand the impact the right support can have, and I remain committed to providing meaningful guidance and reassurance when it matters most.

Working with injured clients is about more than just the legal process. It’s about supporting people through what can be an incredibly difficult time, helping them cope with the immediate impact of trauma while supporting them on their journey towards recovery and a more secure future.

My client, a family man and business owner, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. The claim involved many supporting factors such as forensic accountants and Kings Counsel to draft detailed proceedings and schedules of loss to build up a picture of the client’s business projections. Detailed statements had to be taken from his family and business partner to detail their life and future. This was a particularly sensitive case with but very rewarding with a great outcome secured for the family.

I’ve assisted a number of elderly clients that have sustained serious injuries. These clients were a little more vulnerable and a variety of experts along with case managers were needed to support the client to assess quantum and the future care and assistance elements to secure the appropriate compensation.

Our team combines a wide range of specialist skills and experience to support clients when they need it most. We take on the responsibility of managing negotiations and communication, helping to ease the emotional strain of the claims process so clients can focus on their recovery.

Having worked and managed teams in the legal sector for over 30 years, the culture of the business really stands out. The transparency, inclusion and sense of belonging along with a supporting network of colleagues makes it a really enjoyable place to work.

Outside the office I prioritise quality time with my family especially travelling to Lanzarote which we have real soft spot for, and for some guaranteed sun – along with regular trips to Centre Parcs which is a must for my son especially at Christmas. Weekends you will find me on the side-lines cheering on my son and his football team being the proud "football parent".
