Who am I

I’m a Litigation Executive in our International Injury Team, handling a wide range of cases, from straightforward claims to more complex international matters. These can include cases involving package travel regulations, claims under the Montreal and Athens Conventions, and road traffic accidents abroad.

With six years’ experience in personal injury law, I joined Fletchers after completing my law degree and have since developed my expertise in both serious injury and international injury claims. I’m currently working towards qualifying as a Solicitor.

What I specialise in

Why I do this work

What continues to motivate me is the opportunity to combine legal problem-solving with supporting people at what can be a very difficult and uncertain time in their lives. Clients injured abroad are often in particularly vulnerable situations, not only dealing with their injuries but also unfamiliar legal systems and processes.

Being able to guide them through complex and unfamiliar situations with clarity and empathy, while helping them secure the compensation they deserve, is what makes this work so rewarding for me.

How I work with clients

One of my key strengths is being both persistent and detail-focused when progressing a case. International injury claims can be complex, often involving multiples parties and legal systems, so I’m thorough in building the strongest possible case and confident in challenging issues where needed.

I also place great importance on clear communication and listening. I understand how stressful this time can be, particularly when clients are dealing with uncertainty and unfamiliar processes, so I make sure they feel heard, reassured, and fully informed every step of the way.

I take the time to understand how each client’s injury affects their day-to-day life, ensuring any settlement properly reflects their individual needs, both now and in the future.

Outcomes

ANON

I represented a client who was injured in a motorcycle accident in Spain. They were dealing with the impact of their injuries and the stress of trying to understand a legal process involving another country, which understandably felt overwhelming at times. I provided regular updates, clear explanations and a consistent point of contact, so they felt guided and supported throughout. As the case progressed, it was rewarding to see their confidence grow and their focus shift towards recovery. It was a reminder that while securing compensation is important, a key part of our role is helping clients feel reassured and supported when their lives have been disrupted.

My team

Our team combines a strong blend of technical legal knowledge, practical case management experience and client-focused support. We work collaboratively with each person playing an important role in progressing a case effectively, ensuring they run smoothly, with clear communication, consistent support and a high standard of care from start to finish.

What I enjoy about working at Fletchers

I joined Fletchers over six years ago after completing my law degree, starting in the onboarding team. That role gave me a strong foundation in understanding clients’ needs from the very beginning of their journey and shaped the client-focused approach I still use today.

I’ve since progressed to my role as a Litigation Executive in the International Injury team, which has given me the opportunity to build real expertise in a specialist and technically complex area of personal injury law. I particularly enjoy the variety and challenge of international claims, where no two cases are the same.

What I value most is the balance between the technical complexity of the work and the difference it makes to clients’ lives. Supporting people through difficult times, while helping them secure the outcomes they need, is incredibly rewarding.

Fletchers have also provided excellent opportunities for development. The collaborative culture, support from my colleagues and the ability to learn from them, have all played an important role in my growth, as I continue working towards qualifying as a Solicitor.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I regularly go to the gym and love hiking with my dog – it’s my favourite way to unwind after a busy week.

I also enjoy reading and cooking, especially trying out new recipes. Most of my free time is spent being active, enjoying the outdoors, or relaxing with a good book.
