I’m a Partner and Head of Medical Negligence at Fletchers, leading our clinical negligence teams across the East Midlands and North East. I have more than twenty‑eight years’ experience bringing clinical negligence claims, with a specialist practice in cases of maximum severity.

My work includes spinal, neurological and birth injury claims, alongside misdiagnosis of cancer and epilepsy, where I have co‑ordinated several high‑profile group actions. 

I have a national reputation as a leader in maternity and birth injury claims, with over thirty years’ experience supporting families affected by maternal and neonatal negligence. I’m known for my expertise, determination and strong negotiation skills, consistently securing the best possible results for clients in highly complex cases. 

I do this work because I’m driven to secure the best possible outcomes for people whose lives have been changed by medical negligence. Supporting families through complex and emotionally challenging cases matters deeply to me, and I’m committed to giving each client a clear voice, strong advocacy and the confidence that their case is being handled with care and determination. Achieving justice and helping families move forward is what motivates me every day. 

I am known for my friendly and sympathetic approach, putting clients at ease from the outset. My aim is always to achieve the very best outcome for each client and to take away the stress of bringing a claim at what is often a deeply difficult and emotional time. I advocate a team approach and believe that the strongest results come from open communication, trust, and an unwavering commitment to the individual behind every case.
