Who am I
I am an Associate and Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence team, with 14 years of experience specialising in this area. I represent clients who have been the victims of clinical errors, guiding them through the legal process.
I have a particular academic interest in the disclosure of clinical errors, having researched the subject for my Master’s degree in Medical Law and Ethics. My research highlighted evidence, particularly from the US, showing that when clinicians are open and honest from the outset about mistakes, litigation costs are reduced and, most importantly, the time and stress for clients is significantly lessened.
Why I do this work
I’m deeply passionate about the clinical negligence work I do. I find my clients truly inspiring; they often face incredibly difficult circumstances with strength and resilience, which motivates me to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.
