Who am I
I am a Solicitor and Partner specialising in serious injury work, leading a team that supports clients who have suffered life‑changing injuries or bereavement. I have acted for injured people and families since 1999, working exclusively on behalf of those seeking compensation after serious harm.
What I specialise in
Why I do this work
I have dedicated my career to helping people whose lives have been changed in an instant. Supporting injured clients and bereaved families is a privilege, and I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves clear guidance, early rehabilitation and a solicitor who puts them first.
How I work with clients
I have long believed that if you keep clients at the centre of everything, the rest will follow. Wherever possible, I meet clients in person to understand their situation, their goals and the challenges they face.
I progress claims effectively and efficiently by identifying key milestones early on – securing appropriate funding, assessing the merits of the case, accessing rehabilitation, obtaining interim payments and working with leading experts to build the strongest evidence. Rehabilitation is always a priority, and I work hard to ensure clients receive the support they need to maximise their recovery.
Clients describe me as professional, empathetic and someone who explains each step clearly so they feel understood and reassured. They often comment on my attention to detail, calmness in difficult circumstances and commitment to securing early rehabilitation. I am known for putting clients first, going above and beyond, and working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outcomes
I have recovered tens of millions of pounds for clients who have suffered serious injury in the UK and abroad. My cases involve injuries caused by road traffic collisions, workplace accidents, assaults, defective products, falls and incidents on the water. I regularly act in court proceedings and have conducted many Inquests to help families understand the circumstances surrounding a death.
ANON
Secured a seven‑figure settlement for a young adult who sustained a moderate to severe brain injury and serious orthopaedic injuries in a road collision. Early rehabilitation, funded through the insurer, helped him regain stability, reconnect with family and rebuild his life.
ANON
Achieved a high seven‑figure settlement for a man in his 50s who suffered a severe leg injury at work and ultimately required an elective amputation. Interim payments funded rehabilitation and prosthetics assessment, and the final award provided long‑term financial security.
ANON
Recovered a strong six‑figure settlement for a pedestrian who suffered multiple serious injuries when a van mounted the pavement, also causing a fatality within her family. Rehabilitation and interim payments supported her recovery, and settlement avoided the strain of further court proceedings.
ANON
Secured compensation, home adaptations and provisional damages for a worker run over twice by a forklift truck, sustaining bilateral femur fractures, ankle injuries and PTSD. Rehabilitation helped him avoid amputation and rebuild his independence.
ANON
Obtained a six‑figure settlement for a motorcyclist injured when a car pulled out across his path and failed to stop. His arm, knee and ankle injuries caused permanent mobility restrictions, and rehabilitation enabled him to return to alternative employment.
My team
I value working collaboratively to establish liability, particularly in cases where responsibility is initially denied. My team and I work closely together to build strong evidence, challenge disputed positions and secure the best outcomes for our clients.
What I enjoy about my work
I take great satisfaction in helping clients access early rehabilitation and seeing the difference it makes to their recovery.
“I have long held the belief that by keeping our clients at the centre of everything we do then all else will follow.”

Outside of work
I volunteer with Horatio’s Garden at the Spinal Centre in Salisbury, supporting people with spinal cord injuries – a cause I am deeply passionate about. I also chair the Injury Support Network, a panel of experienced solicitors who assist people in crisis following serious injury or fatality. In addition, I chair the Steering Group for SEABIF, promoting better understanding of acquired brain injury and campaigning for improved services across the UK.
