Nermeen Salahuddin 

I am a Solicitor, specialising in clinical negligence, with particular interest in cancer and stoma claims. Having worked in law since 2016, I began my career as a paralegal, before successfully qualifying as a solicitor in 2024.

I’m passionate about advocating for often-marginalised members of society. As a Responsible Business Champion at Fletchers, I’ve worked on initiatives for Ramadan, Pride, Black History Month, International Women’s Day and many more. 

I’m particularly interested in supporting clients with stoma-related claims, as I experienced the impact this had on my nephew, who required an immediate stoma at birth. This allows me to deeply relate to my clients’ challenges and understand the emotional and physical impact medical negligence has on their lives. 

I’m committed to going above and beyond for my clients. I value maintaining strong relationships that are built on a foundation of trust and reassurance, during what is often the most difficult time in my clients’ lives. 

I’m an active board member of the Manchester Muslim Writers group and frequently give discussions on routes into law at local schools.
