Noah Milton

I’m the Director of AI at Fletchers, where I lead a growing team of skilled technical experts developing AI tools that make legal processes faster and more efficient.

Since joining in August 2023, I have expanded the team to over 10 members and overseen the creation of tools that streamline tasks such as medical record pagination and legal bill drafting, saving time and improving outcomes for clients.

I spent time working in operations and improvement for many businesses in my previous role, but at Fletchers the purpose felt much more real. The 'processes' here are very human, and impact people in some of the most important times of their life, so the opportunity to work on improving that was too exciting to miss. I also felt like the challenges and opportunities to improve are so rich and interesting, because we are working with real people and can't have a 'one size fits all' approach. And on top of all of that, I am especially excited about how AI promises to change the industry, and think we're well positioned to lead from the front to get this right for colleagues in our wider sector.

The AI team is an excellent mix of deep technical excellence, industry experience, and an engagement with our colleagues and legal processes that allows us to bring cutting edge AI tools to the sector.

One thing I value about working here is the opportunity to make changes quickly and be proactive, complexity and range of work and challenges. On top of this, this is a genuinely supportive culture and leadership team, giving us the ability to build, grow and define areas of the business.

Even outside of work I am passionate about technology, as well as spending time outdoors, spending my time running and taking part in a variety of sports. I love talking about nerdy technical processes, especially since spending a week working in a boiled egg factory, this story comes out a lot!
