Who am I

I’m an Associate, Solicitor and Team Leader who joined the Fletchers team in December 2021. I have over 20 years of experience in personal injury law, having handled a wide range of cases including road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, public liability, and product liability claims.

I’ve managed cases with compensation values ranging from modest to catastrophic, with particular expertise in chronic pain cases and serious orthopaedic injuries. I understand the importance of rehabilitation and treatment following serious injuries and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for my clients.

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2002, I’ve been known for maintaining high standards of client care and ensuring clients are fully informed throughout the pre- and post-litigation process. My meticulous approach has resulted in a strong client care record, and I go the extra mile to maximise outcomes and help clients rebuild their lives after serious injuries.

Why I do this work

I’ve spent over 20 years acting for people whose lives have been turned upside down by injury. What has always motivated me is the difference we can make beyond the legal process – helping someone regain independence, access the right rehabilitation and feel back in control again.

I’ve seen first-hand how overwhelming it can be for clients and their families, particularly in serious injury cases, and I take a lot of pride in guiding them through that uncertainty. For me, it’s not just about securing the right compensation – it’s about helping people rebuild their lives in a practical, meaningful way and making a positive difference every day towards this.

How I work with clients

My approach is straightforward – I combine clear, practical advice with being consistently available and approachable. Clients are often dealing with one of the most difficult periods of their lives so I make sure that they feel listened to, informed and supported at every stage. I take the time to understand not just the injury but how it affects their day-to-day life, their family and their future plans. This approach assists in maximising all outcomes.

Outcomes

From a client’s perspective, the legal result is only part of the story. What tends to matter most are the moments where they feel things are starting to move forward again – whether that’s getting access to treatment, returning to some level of independence, or simply having someone they trust guiding them through the process. Many of my clients remember the reassurance of having things explained clearly at a time when everything felt uncertain. Others focus on practical milestones – being able to return to work in some capacity, adapt their home or regain confidence in daily life. Ultimately, it’s about helping people move from a very difficult starting position where they can look ahead again.

My team

Our team blends technical expertise and genuine client care. We work collaboratively, so clients benefit not just from one lawyer but from a wider team with varied experience.

What I enjoy about working at Fletchers

Since joining Fletchers, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and serious injury cases which has allowed me to continue developing my expertise. What I enjoy most is the combination of high-quality work and a strong team environment. There’s a real focus on client outcomes, but also on supporting each other as colleagues. The variety and complexity of the cases keep the role interesting and fresh and there are clear opportunities to continue building and specialising further within serious injury work. The work is varied and challenging, but always focused on achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family and keeping active. I’m a regular runner and enjoy getting out for longer runs at the weekend. I also enjoy watching football and following the sport generally, as well as making the most of time away with family when I can.
