Who am I
I’ve been Group Chief Executive Officer of Fletchers since November 2021. I bring more than twenty five years experience leading growth and transformation across professional services, consumer businesses and the charity sector. Before joining Fletchers, I was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, held Executive Director and UK CEO roles at Greencore plc, and was part of the senior leadership team at Oxfam.
Across my career, I’ve focused on building high‑performing organisations that combine commercial success with meaningful social impact, a philosophy that continues to shape how I lead today.
Why I do this work
My career has been shaped by a longstanding interest in access to justice and the wider social impact of legal services. Earlier in my career, I worked alongside Baroness Helena Kennedy to help establish the Oxford Institute of Human Rights and advised former shadow front‑bench ministers on policy development. These experiences continue to inform my perspective on the importance of legal services in supporting people who have been affected by serious harm or injury caused by negligence.
Having seen first-hand the impact a serious injury can have on a family, Peter is passionate about the role legal services can play in helping people rebuild their lives.
How I work with clients
As Group CEO, my role is to shape the organisation that supports our clients. Since joining Fletchers, I’ve led a period of significant growth, including organic expansion and strategic acquisitions that have broadened our specialist expertise and strengthened our national presence.

Since joining Fletchers, I’ve led a period of sustained growth and transformation. This includes:

Outside of work
Outside my role at Fletchers, I’ve remained closely involved in work connected to human rights and access to justice. Earlier in my career, I contributed to the establishment of the Oxford Institute of Human Rights and supported policy development with former shadow front‑bench ministers. This background continues to shape the perspective I bring into my leadership today.
