Who am I
I began my academic journey with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences before transitioning into law through a conversion course and completing my Legal Practice Course. I qualified as a solicitor in 2012 after a training contract in personal injury, and went on to specialise in medical negligence from 2014 onwards.
Over the course of my career, I have worked at several top-tier firms across Liverpool and Leeds, building extensive experience in complex, high-value clinical negligence claims. I joined Fletchers in November 2025 as an associate Solicitor, continuing my focus on birth injury and clinical negligence work, and I am an APIL accredited clinical negligence specialist and Senior Litigator.
What I specialise in
Why I do this work
I specialise in birth injury claims because of the life changing impact these cases have on children and their families. I’m motivated by a commitment to ensuring those affected receive the support, answers and resources they need for the future. At the same time, I’m passionate about helping to drive improvements in maternity care by holding providers to account where standards have fallen short.
How I work with clients
I take a highly personal and considered approach to working with clients, recognising that no two families’ experiences are the same. I invest time in truly understanding the day-to-day realities and long-term impact of a birth injury, so that every claim is shaped around the individual needs of the child and their family. Clients often tell me they value my calm, approachable manner and the reassurance of knowing they can speak openly and be heard at every stage. I’m equally meticulous and tenacious behind the scenes, carefully building each case and pursuing it with focus and determination to secure the best possible outcome.

My team
What sets our team apart is our collaborative, coordinated approach, where each member plays a distinct role to combine legal expertise, detailed case management and wider specialist input to ensure clients receive seamless, fully supported care throughout their case.
What I enjoy about working at Fletchers
Working at Fletchers has been a really positive part of my career so far. I genuinely enjoy the value and complexity of the work we do. Every case is different and requires careful thought, and it is rewarding to know the work has such a meaningful impact on families’ lives.
One of the things I value most is the culture. There’s a real family feel to the firm, and the environment is supportive and nurturing, which makes a big difference day to day. The team around me is approachable and collaborative. We work closely together and are always willing to support one another, which creates a strong sense of trust and shared purpose. It’s also exciting to be part of a growing specialist team in birth injury work, where we are developing our expertise together.
Flexible working has also been really important for me. It allows me to balance my work with family life while still working efficiently and staying fully committed to my role.

Outside of work
Outside of work, I am married with two young children, so much of my time is spent keeping up with busy family life and all the activities that come with it. I really value that time together, whether that is something simple like a family day out or just spending time at home.
When I do get a bit of time to myself, I enjoy going for walks, baking and reading, which are a great way for me to unwind. I also enjoy the creativity that comes with baking, especially when I can share it with family and friends.
