I’m a Clinical Negligence Solicitor Apprentice, supporting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. I work on complex, high-value cases involving brain, stroke, and spinal injuries, helping to build strong evidence to secure the compensation clients need to move forward.

With over 3 years’ experience in clinical negligence, I’ve developed a strong understanding of both the legal and emotional needs of seriously injured clients. I regularly attend Joint Settlement Meetings, conferences, and client visits, providing both legal and personal support.

I genuinely enjoy the work I do. The complexity of the cases and the seriousness of my clients’ injuries motivate me to achieve the best possible outcome for them. Seeing the positive impact that compensation can have, whether that’s access to private physiotherapy or adapting a home to better suit their needs, is incredibly rewarding. I have a strong sense fairness, so it’s a privilege to support people whose lives have been changed through no fault of their own. Being able to stand alongside them and help them rebuild their lives is a responsibility I’m proud to take on.

My journey at Fletchers began in the call centre at Patient Claim Line, which taught me the importance of really listening to clients. This is a skill I bring into my work in the legal team. I regularly visit clients to build trust and help them feel more at ease with what can be a daunting process when bringing a claim. I place strong emphasis on maintaining close relationships with clients, as trust is essential to progressing cases effectively.

I thoroughly enjoy working with my team, made up of dedicated and highly skilled lawyers who handle a wide range of complex cases. It’s inspiring to see how effectively they apply their expertise across different matters, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

I owe a great deal to Fletchers for the outstanding support and training I’ve received, from my time in the call centre through to working towards qualification. I now manage a small caseload of highly complex cases with limited supervision, reflecting the trust placed in me and the firm’s strong commitment to developing future lawyers.

I work on cases ranging from £500,000 to multi-million-pound claims and have gained exposure to a wide variety of complex clinical negligence work. In particular, I’ve developed a specialism in spinal cord injury cases, which are of particular interest to me.

I’m a huge sports fan. I support Everton and regularly go to the games, and I’m also interested in Formula 1 and golf.
