Who am I
I’m an Associate Solicitor and Sub-Team Leader in the Birth Injury Unit at Fletchers. Having acted exclusively for claimants for 14 years, I’m a clinical negligence specialist with years of experience representing clients and their families in complex, high value claims.
I currently act in a wide range of birth injury claims with many of my clients having sustained catastrophic injuries including hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy and cerebral palsy. My caseload also includes maternal infection, meningitis, stillbirth and wrongful birth claims.
I take immense pride in delivering excellent client care and establishing a meaningful rapport with my clients and their families. I provide support throughout what is often the worst experience of their lives, to deliver hope, a future and excellent outcome. Mine and my team’s customer satisfaction feedback is consistently ranked amongst the top across the group.
In addition to my own cases, I supervise a further 40 birth injury cases within my sub-team. I’m extremely passionate about developing junior members of the team and providing high-quality training.
What I specialise in
Why I do this work
I’m passionate about helping people at some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. Specialising in birth injury cases allows me to support families through incredibly challenging circumstances and help them secure the resources and support they need for the future.
As a mother myself, I can empathise with many of the emotions and concerns families experience, which helps me build strong relationships with my clients and provide support tailored to their needs. Although the work is complex and demanding, making a positive difference to the lives of children and their families is what makes it so rewarding and fulfilling.
How I work with clients
I take a highly personalised approach, getting to know my clients and their families so I can provide support that is tailored to their individual needs. My aim is to guide clients through every stage of their claim, offering reassurance and a steady hand throughout what can often be a difficult and emotional process. I am compassionate and approachable with my clients but tenacious when it comes to achieving the best possible outcome. By staying organised, paying close attention to detail and explaining complex issues in simple terms, I help clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their journey.

LOAD MOREWhat I enjoy about working at Fletchers
I have worked at Fletchers for nearly a decade which has given me the opportunity to build experience across a broad range of clinical negligence cases and claim values. My roles have provided excellent opportunities to develop my career, including the ability to specialise in birth injury cases, an area of work I am particularly passionate about. I also value the supportive culture which has offered flexibility alongside family life and working with exceptional lawyers which is what makes Fletchers such a great place to work.

Outside of work
Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, usually with my young child and lively cocker spaniel in tow. You’ll often find me at the gym, out on a scenic walk, or shopping for interiors.
