Who am I
I’m the Director of Legal Excellence at Fletchers. I was admitted as a solicitor in 2012 and have built a distinguished career across both claimant and defendant personal injury law firms. This has given me a well-rounded perspective on litigation and a strong understanding of cases from all sides.
I also spent time on secondment with one of the UK’s leading insurers, which further strengthened my technical knowledge and insight into how claims are assessed and managed. I joined Fletchers in April 2022, bringing this breadth of experience to support clients in achieving the best possible outcomes.
I’m a technically focused Employers’ Liability and Public Liability solicitor, with a particular interest in complex liability disputes. Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for achieving exceptional outcomes, often succeeding in cases where the prospects appeared challenging. Having developed a strong foundation in strategic litigation, I have now transitioned away from day-to-day case handling to focus on a broader strategic and operational role. This enables me to drive enhanced outcomes and deliver greater value across our entire client base, shaping approach, consistency, and excellence at a firm-wide level.

LOAD MOREWhat I enjoy about working at Fletchers
Something I enjoy about working at Fletchers is the opportunities for progression and development. I joined Fletchers in 2022 as a Serious Injury Solicitor and progressed quickly to Associate, and then to leading the EL/PL team, where I built and scaled the department from 10 to over 150 colleagues across five offices. I was later promoted to Director of Personal Injury and Partner, and I’m now Director of Legal Excellence within the Operational Excellence (FleX) team, where I bridge legal practice with transformation, improvement and AI initiatives to enhance how we deliver legal services. I work closely with senior lawyers and leadership teams to shape strategy, improve processes and support innovation, ensuring change is grounded in strong legal expertise and delivers real value for clients. It’s amazing to see how the business has developed, and it’s exciting to be a part of it.

Outside of work
Outside of work, I enjoy immersing myself in the arts and culture, from theatre and live music to discovering new and emerging bands. I particularly enjoy visiting art galleries and, when time allows, exploring my own creativity through watercolour painting. I’m a passionate traveller and a self-confessed foodie, always keen to seek out exceptional restaurants and new culinary experiences! I love to travel, my favourite destinations I’ve explored include India, South Africa, Brazil and Cambodia. Alongside this, I enjoy cooking and baking at home and unwinding with a good book, including taking part in the firm’s book club. I’m also committed to giving back to the community, volunteering with a homeless charity in Manchester on Friday evenings to provide essential support to those in need.
